Tanushi Ambekar, DDS
Experience
Dr. Ambekar is exceptional when it comes to patient care. Having had traumatic dental experiences as a child, Dr Ambekar makes sure she empathizes with her patients throughout their dental appointments. Her commitment to excellence, quality, and detail in her work, and her focus on patient comfort are commendable. Dr. Ambekar loves educating her patients and making the experience positive for them.

Dr. Tanushi Ambekar graduated from India with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2008. She then practiced dentistry in various rural and urban health settings and as a lecturer in a dental school, which gave her a lot of experience. She moved to Canada in 2012. She got into the Advanced Placement program and graduated from the University of Alberta in 2019. She worked in Red Deer, Alberta, for a year before she joined Chehalis Dental Care.
Dr. Ambekar lives with her husband and two beautiful daughters. She loves to sing, knit, and spend time with family doing outdoor activities. She is also associated with a nonprofit organization and mentors foreign-trained dentists in their journey to get their licenses to practice in North America.

Dr. Punjabi is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Washington State Dental Association (WSDA), Pierce County Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). She continues to take additional dental courses to keep herself up to date on the advances in dentistry so that she can provide high-quality dental care to the families in her care.

Dr. Punjabi graduated from dental school and worked as a prosthodontist in India. She also worked as a dental assistant in Seattle, Washington, before getting accepted at the prestigious Ivy League University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Her love for the beautiful Pacific Northwest made her return to her adopted home state, Washington! She is passionate about practicing dentistry and calls it her first love. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors or taking dancing lessons. She is fond of rollercoasters and indoor racecar driving and plans to try more of these activities during her time off work.
